Imani Vocational Training Centre

Imani Vocational Training Centre was founded in September 2000 in order to provide skills training to Tanzanian youth aged 14-25.

This not-for-profit is owned and operated by the Sisters of Our Lady of
Kilimanjaro under the Catholic Diocese of Moshi and is located in the village of Mtakuja, about a half an hour from the Northern Tanzanian town of Moshi
(situated at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro).

The centre provides teaching, instruction and support on:

CARPENTRY - TAILORING - CATERING/HOSPITALITY - WELDING - MASONRY - ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION - WEAVING/KNITTING - Garden Irrigation - Pig Raising - Maize Milling - Compost
